Anyone know where MizzouRah is?

I'll betcha that system would always work for Elon Musk or Warren Buffett.
Okay, just to show that "never winning" is a family trait, I will tell my Warren Buffet story:

So it's 1956, my Dad is getting out of the Air Force (stationed at Offutt in Omaha), I'm turning two and my Mom is getting ready to have my brother.
My Dad is committed to joining a practice (he is a Dr.) in Omaha with a $10,000 buy in when a friend of his from comes up and says that he is forming an investment group and its a $10,000 by in and since my Dad knows who smart he is would my dad like to join?
My Dad says: "No Warren, financially this is not a good time for me and my family so I will have to pass".

Do you know how much those initial investors made? I try not to think about :(

Great Buffet story. I had a client who played golf regularly at Happy Hollow or some other club - almost weekly. He said that Warren would tell them of the investment decisions he had just made that past week, but never those that he was going to make in the upcoming week.

Haha, that's great and I have a similar story. My grandparents were friends with Warren's parents. When Warren was first starting out, my dad had a chance to invest with him, but he told my mom, "I'm not going to give that dumb kid our money, he doesn't know anything."

Oh thank God, someone else that did what my Dad did!

I put treats in front of my dog with team names on each. He picked 65 % winners.
That’s pretty neat to have a prognosticator
In the family that can earn his keep. So far this year he has gained 5 pounds this season.
I hope he’s made you a ton of cash. Hope he’s a big dog and can hold the extra weight. You forgot pal. ;)

Hey everyone.... Sorry to be away from the board (and apparently for costing people a few bucks!).

I'm healthy and doing pretty well.

My Dad was in failing health in the fall and I was driving back and forth six hours to the farm pretty frequently to try to help out. I just didn't have the time or energy to worry about posting football picks. He passed two days after Thanksgiving, I said my goodbye's the day (I was going to return to the farm in a week but I figured the end was near) after Thanksgiving and went to the MU/Arkansas game that day. The Tigers winning that one probably meant next to nothing to most people but I was crying and kind of lost it when we won as I felt it was for Dad (he was a varsity tennis player at Mizzou).

I would not suspect anyone would be interested in the service but it is publicly available (The service starts 13 minutes in) and I think it was a great honor to him. My Dad was a great educator and tennis coach who made a lot of people find their self-confidence. We will be awarding scholarships in his honor to help the youth of our small town try to get ahead.

I have no idea if I will do the picks for the upcoming season or not but I hope to do a better job of participating here.

I know there is renewed optimism on this board and I'll try to pitch in with some opinions to either feed the excitement or be a wet blanket on occasion!
