I tried the 50% theory one time progressively. Bet $11 if I won the 10 I’d pocket it and start over. If not I’d go to $22. Then $44 hoping to eventually make my 10 and start over. It worked for a while but then I had a time where I lost like 6 in a row and had to bet around $800. Luckily I won and got my money back. I was about $200 up before that sequence started and used that as part of my $200 so I broke even.
NEVER AGAIN.

I remember him recently saying that he was realy busy and almost didn't make picks that week. Hopefully he will be back. It's really fun to read a post that is not about the rumors of a new coach or that we should switch QBs, or fire another assistant or how lousy our coaches and players are or how everything would be better if staff just implemented the demands of the contributor.

Well in less than 5 minutes I had thrown away $50.
We ate the buffet and went back to work.
Next time I saw her I said:" what the H*ll and she told me" oh, you have to be willing to go $500- 600 down, but it will kick in and you will win", this from a Iowa farm wife!
Me, I am still mad more than 25 years later at losing $50!
