When I'm hunting it usually just sounds like laughing. What does it sound like when the doves cry?
I’m going dove hunting in Cordoba, Argentina in three weeks. I’ve been told to expect a good time. The outfitter provides “bird boys” that just keeps handing you loaded shotguns, lol. I’m told to expect to shoot over 10,000 shells in the three days I’m hunting down there.
I’ve requested to shoot a 410 over/under, a .20 ga, and a .28 ga.
Looking forward to it.
This will be my first bird hunt. I started shooting trap a few years ago and caught that bug, then this opportunity presented itself and it seemed fun.If you've never been, it's insane.
I have to admit I like the solitude of solo pheasant hunting in Western Kansas and Nebraska, so South American dove was like Times Square New Years Eve. I felt like an over stimulated baby and didn't enjoy it as much as the others. You can only kill so many doves before it loses its appeal, IMO. Like fifty. Hundreds and I mean you will kill hundreds, seems like a waste.

I think I might be equally as excited about the food at the lodge and/or the trip down there. Going to spend a couple days in Lima on the way down and a couple in Santiago on the way back.
In my younger years I was as blue collar as they come. I’ve gotten soft in my middle years and I like that kind of baloney now, lolYou’ll be treated like royalty. It’s a bit odd for me as I don’t like people waiting on me hand and foot.
Enjoy the trip.

I'm more of a Dial or Irish Spring guy myself.
