Any reason for worry

that we have only 1 verbal commit for 2020 when 20 teams have 5 or more 2020 commits, including almost half of the B1G?
From 247 Composite:
1 Ohio State 7 Commits 93.26 153.43
2 Michigan 7 Commits 88.83 122.95
3 Iowa 8 Commits 86.80 122.56
4 Wisconsin 6 Commits 88.67 106.88
5 Penn State 5 Commits 90.72 100.53
6 Northwestern 5 Commits 86.03 77.63

Not sure I ever worry but less so at this point, lot of time for these kids to commit, decommit, recommit and then renig on the recommitment and sign somewhere completely different.

We are way pickier than these other guys in the league. When we go 16-0 next season, we'll pretty much have to tell these guys that we cannot accept mediocre de-commits from anybody else in the league ... but should say "no offense .... but" first just to let them down easily... they're just kids after all.

Zero worries here, sir.

What has to happen before we start counting commits:

1. Spring practice
2. Spring Game
3. Summer camps (further evaluation of prospects)
4. Fall camp
5. Football season

Same story, different year. Iowa had a top 10 class in March one year.

LOL. That would be this year — Iowa’s 247 ranking today is #10 nationally.
Even more correlation that March recruiting rankings don’t matter, it’s happening again, as I was referencing 2016 (and the 2017 class).

https://247sports.com/Article/Iowa-has-Top10-Recruiting-Class-led-by-AJ-Epenesa-Juan-Harris-44999719

Iowa finished 41st that year, and 8th in the big ten. Quantity rankings in March don’t matter when everyone can have 85 total. I’d put your worry more in making sure you stay off a Boeing737 than recruiting rankings in the spring.
