I’m not saying these guys will be part of our path to 85. I will say that we will need to take a major chill pill watching it happen. I doubt any of the new recruits or transfers will be part of the departures so we better get ready to see some familiar faces exiting.

Is Anthony Grant someone who is going to be a starter anyways? Was he even going to get in any meaningful playing time even if he isn't a starter? I'll defer to the HC on this, and am not worried about it at all.
He was in the T3 of CFB in rushing yards through the first 5-6 weeks of the season. If he isn't considered a starter going into next year, he's absolutely in the conversation.

I think Grant behind a decent offensive line would be a pretty special player. He's got some of the best change in direction speed I've seen. Not sure he is going to outrun everyone in the open field, but he can be illusive. Just don't think he got an opportunity to really showcase that because our line wasn't opening lanes up.
He tailed off last year always trying to make 40 instead of 4. Maybe he could overcome that, but that's a difficult trait to change.
Anthony Grant is a little improvement away form being a stud. Yea hes not perfect, he dances too much at times, but his overall play is excellent. He breaks tackles, makes people miss, gets up field. Lets just focus on a little negative why dont we geez. If the new RB coach works with him a little and he improves, he could be all Big 10. Could be.

I guess we see what we want to see? I see no one questioning why a player is not being held accountable or wondering why a player is being held accountable.
Grant always seems to keep his feet moving until the very end and at times probably tried to do too much. But, I think his mindset to keep moving and play to the whistle was great. Let's hope he can channel that same mindset to academics.
It appears the new running backs coach and Rhule are trying to get him to go to class before they waste their time trying to make him all B1G. He’s gotta help himself.

He may be no Franklin, he is a GrantThink if Grant is willing, he will improve in playing and conduct...and think he's worth it.
