Another sincere prayer request

UPDATE: We completed 2 weeks at Mayo Clinic. Of course, we go out there fantasizing about a "magic bullet" that will cure everything. It usually doesn't work that way. In complex situations, it is often a matter of elimination, and that is what Mayo Clinic has been doing. We've gotten some answers, and there's still some remaining questions that we await answers to. We go back in March to hopefully get some semi-final answers and a treatment plan.

If any of you have questions about the Mayo Clinic experience, feel free to message me. It's a bit different than what most of us are accustomed to. I could use all kinds of flattering words about Mayo, and many of those would be accurate, but it is a different experience, and I wish others could be a bit more educated and possibly take advantage of it.

I had my tonsils and adenoids out at the Mayo in Rochester Minnesota in 1966.......it was good.....I think.

Prayers continue for your family.

This! We are promised that God will give his children what they need to get throughtoday. He always does that, plus some.
I should have added After going through all this we decided to take up ball room dancing. Now keep in mind my wife is in a wheelchair and I have 3 left feet So we went to a local Fred Astaire and lo and behold we are actually very good at it. I have a brother who thinks is a great dancer and at a wedding he saw us wheelchair dancing. While I was dancing with my Daughter he decided he would show me how it is really done. After a couple of minutes he gave up as it is not as easy as it looks.

Life goes on and you make the best of it with what you have.

I don't usually post personal info on here, but I could really use your prayers for my 22 year old daughter. She played one year of college volleyball, but suffered a concussion in a game and never played again. That was fall of 2021. Her health continued to worsen. She now has significant Lupus, and perhaps other problems in her brain. It's been a multi-year ordeal. She and her mom are flying to Scottsdale on Monday to Mayo Clinic for two weeks of tests and consultations. Our prayer is 1)for a firm diagnosis, and 2) that it is treatable so that she can live a normal life.

Thank you friends. I will report back as I get information.
10-4 - the more the better - Grace for your family as you navigate this.

Prayers continue for your daughter and family! My daughter sat out a year of lacrosse with a nerve issue and never really got any definitive answers and is playing her last year now.

That really sucks. Watching them play their last games is a most grievous thing for parents. Their sport is a part of them, and we all as families have been there to support them at every turn.

We found out at Mayo Clinic, that there's a lot in the body that can go sideways and no one ever really knows what or why. What impresses me, however, is that they try to put together a "tool chest" if you will, to help you deal with whatever befalls you. And it's not a sack full of prescriptions. I think they changed one prescription while we were out there? But we came home with some good management tools - up to her if she wants to deploy them.

Your daughter and Jonathan are in my daily prayers.
