Tuesday, October 31st on Game Time with Nick Bahe
(Q. Nick Bahe) “Bill, I would be doing my audience a disservice if I didn’t ask you this question so I’m going to ask it as delicately and respectfully as I can. Scott Frost is having a great season at Central Florida and a good majority of my listeners would love to see him as the next head coach, whenever that would be. How familiar are you with Scott Frost, and how closely are you following what he is doing at Central Florida?”
(A. Bill Moos) “Well, Scott, of course, has a great resume. He has both coached and played the game on both offense and defense. He has learned from some of the great football minds in the business, throughout the years both, again, at the college level and in the professional ranks. I do know that he did a fabulous job at Oregon especially as the offensive coordinator with developing a Heisman trophy winner there and a team that played for a national championship. So, he’s got the full-package. The only thing that he was missing, back then, in my opinion, was actually being a head college coach and all the other responsibilities and obligations that come with that, and he has handled that superbly, from afar, as I look at it. Of course he does have the roots here, raised in the state of Nebraska and playing for the Icon that Tom Osborne is, and a lot of things very positive. Scott is going to coach in a power 5, and probably sooner than later, and he has paid his dues, and I’ve been quite impressed with that; having never really met him but just watching his work from afar.”

w.o.w. there were shorter and less effusive answers available to Mr. Moos. this is what he chose to say.
