A very fair, national take (video)

I think the reason we have been (and now seem to be) "on to the next guy" is that when Frank got fired, the connection we had with Bob, Tom, and then Frank & co. got disrupted. We have not recovered from that. We have been on to the next guy ever since. We had some success with that, but a lot of failure. Since that got disrupted, there's no going back (probably...Scott would have been that guy). I think we need someone to re-invent us. Sad, but true. The culture got disrupted...the fan base was left to wonder...recruits were left to wonder...coaches were given opportunities to re-invent us but were up against enormous odds. Either we find a way to rec-connect (after all these many years) or we re-invent completely.

Thanks for having me.

Our average recruiting class rank over the past five years is higher than Iowa or Wisconsin. We're not losing to them because of a lack of talent (in state or otherwise).

We have just as good, if not better facilities and resources.

I get what you're saying, but I just don't buy the argument that we can't get back to a level comparable to Iowa and Wisconsin.
Different is.. they can coach them up. what NU has shown they can not

Experts from outside the program: Problem with DONU is Scott Frost

Fans: Problems with DONU is Scott Frost

Media: Problem with DONU is Scott Frost

Anyone see a pattern here?

Finally the really disturbing thing for me is Frost admits, 1st quarter, Illinois lines up on defense in something that made "half DONU offense unusable".

So where is OC Lubick, Run game Coordinator Austin, who could have huddled up with HC Frost and devised a response to the ILLinois defense.

Instead HC is without apparently a clue as to what to do, as our offense showed in the game, something HC Frost has shown over the last three years with declining scoring average each year he has been here.

You can't fix the mistakes when YOU ARE THE MISTAKES.

Because Scott Frost is trying to be that "next guy" who brings us back to what we had. That connection got disrupted.

And everyone expects Scott to be that "next guy" we've been wanting ever since Frank.

Great take!!!
Only thing I'm not agreeing on is that we want to be iowa or iowa st
We should shoot for higher than that
Eventually

SF still thinks he is the smartest guy in the room. Problemo numero uno.
Yes sir. Just because one is the boss, does not mean one has all the answers. That’s why you have a staff. If you don’t consider things your staff presents to you, you are not being a good leader. No one said, take every idea, but sometimes, others have a different view that maybe someone else does not see. No one person ever has all the answers, in anything, except God Himself!

I truly hope, that Scott Frost is aware of all the people bashing him. Maybe he will wake up. Has to be harsh hearing all of this for him, but, if he is honest, he knows he bashed everyone upon his hire, and the return fire is justified. Dude should have never got married. He’s lost any mojo he ever had. It’s gone.

Agreed. Hell at least we could blame the coordinator for the poor O if we had one that called plays. It didn’t stop some for the last guy we ran out of town-can’t remember his name or maybe he quit. Lots claiming he was the problem with our O a couple years ago. We just never look like we have any rhythm to our play calling.
Thought play calling was handed over to Lubick

But at DONU, "we" all expect the next guy to have all the answers. We expect him to restore the long-lost connection to what we once had. It unfortunately got disrupted. It can't be restored. Bo said, "Nebraska's back and we're here to stay." Why did he say that? "We're BACK"? because that's what it has been all about ever since Frank...

I never expect any one person to have all the answers, in anything. They don’t. That’s why you surround yourself with non yes men. Too many yes men out there. If you got rid of the yes men out there, unemployment rate would be higher than 50%. People will say anything for a paycheck. Yes sir, um hmm, how high sir, yes sir. Lol
