What i remember him saying was, he built this team to beat Nebraska. Do that and your going to be a tough team to beat
And he was successful at that. Unfortunate though, that we've been building our team for excellence for 50 years, and here comes this upstart...
Easier to beat NU when they have sick players and one with a broken finger.

Wrong…I just got back an hour ago and the arena was 90-95% full. Tons of Aggie fans there…way more than Thursday night. Kentucky fans were severely outnumbered.
Yes a nice size group of Nebraska fans as well in attendance.

The A&M double middle block is devastating. Watching their footwork and anticipation would make a great training video.
They have 9 seniors let's see if he can build a team that competes at this level next year. They get all the credit for what they had this year, now you have to see if he was a one hit wonder with 9 seniors or can be build a sustained team.
Remember that lots of teams have seniors and don’t even get far let alone make the tournament.
A&M had high quality players and yes they will need to reload at some positions. But now they are the national champs and they have a young dynamic coach. They should be a force to reckon with for a while.
Yeah everyone has seniors, but they had 9, over half of their team. They should pull some players, but Texas and SMU have been the volleyball powers in Texas lately, so they are going to have to compete with them for players. The portal will help get them some replacements quick, looks like a lot of players hitting the portal this year.
