I think it would be difficult for anyone to match Franklin's record there, not to mention improve on it.That isn't my reasoning. I'm just thinking that he is in year one...I haven't looked at their schedule so maybe they have the cupcake version this season.
Franklin was .698 (.640 in Big Ten play) all-time at PSU, second to none other than Joe Paterno in the modern college football era (MCFE.)
Campbell was .567 (.556 in Big 12 play) all-time at ISU (probably the best in MCFE at ISU.)
I wouldn't be surprised by the end of the '27 season, to see Franklin a candidate for ACC coach of the year and Campbell sitting on the hot seat.
