2027 Composite 5* TE Ahmad Hudson; Update: Expected To Visit Lincoln In The Fall

IMO, Satt is somewhat maligned by fans. He is one fine TE coach, as our TE room looks to be quite good.
Under DH with Satts coaching and Taylors pitching, Ahmad knows whats cooking here.

Agreed. Ahmad wants to be featured in a program where he can meaningfully contribute to winning. Sat, DH and our current group of tight ends are in an excellent position to show this by example. I have always been a huge fan of tight ends being used in a variety of ways, I have no doubts the coaches know this and will make sure to have our tight ends contributing well this year. This might explain coach DHs comments on him needing to light a fire in the tight end group this summer.

I loved DH getting after them a little. He doesnt just want blockers, he doesnt just want huge receivers, he looks at Bonner and is thinking, I already have both that with him being 20 pounds lighter.

I get the feeling that Nebraska is one feel-good win away from getting a ton of positive press, momentum and a very attractive spot for Hudson. A situation where he can see more positives (with basketball looking ready for another good year too) and can see a path to playing on the biggest stage.

Maybe they don't even have to win, but just make it a really tight game vs Indiana and be 5-1 at the time.

I have a feeling that game is going to be a powder keg and that Indiana is going to learn its harder to stay on top. They don't have a Heisman winning QB at this point, and he made a huge difference. Show me a surprise 6-0 team going to Oregon, and I see a place that should host College Gameday (and they would, if they weren't tied to the SEC) as the place college football will focus on that weekend.

Nebraska's schedule sets up nicely for getting big time media exposure in mid-October. Hopefully they can take advantage of it.

From what I've read and heard on the talk shows, the biggest selling point for NU is Hudson's relationship with Hoiberg and being allowed to be more of a hybrid 3/4. Rather than a true 4 which is what LSU wants. I'm not a basketball guy but that was my understanding.
