Oh, the start of another long offseason purgatory period! But, hopefully, glory awaits at the end when footballs and red balloons fill the air.

Don't think of it as an offseason. Think of it as halftime between the spring and fall season, where you have more time to get back to your seat after hitting the restroom and getting a snack. Or two.

There's nothing wrong with him getting NIL or even knowing what the offers are, but I love his parents not telling him what the NIL offers are unless the decision is a tie:
1. It forces him to focus on the non financial parts for now. If he is in this career for the long run, the money will come in the end regardless. Important for now is fit and development.
2. I love seeing people not just do whatever society sets up as normal, but picking and choosing what is right for them. That's real character.
Would love to get this kid. But if not, good luck to him and his parents. He has every chance to be very successful in life.
