That last pass was truly a thing of beauty.
I will be shocked if HH doesn't start first game, if he is healthy; the experience factor verses 2 freshman QBs is a major plus. With that being said, I would be just as shocked if the freshman don't see playing time in the first game.I think most if not all are saying he's the guy, its just some are saying, is he the guy right now?
At some point hopefully, the definition of who starts becomes really small that we can see. We aren't there yet, few teams have such luxury.
The coaches see it in micro and apply it to what they are trying to do and what they have.
Experience is tough to beat, and if we saw it the staffs way we all would have many more doubts covered.
Who knows when DR is consistently the separated do everything qb?
First game, second third ?
I don't even lie to myself anymore and drink it from a tap...I told myself not to drink the Kool-Aid (again). But, I find myself getting fired up all over again thinking that this year is going to be a nice step forward...
Set the tone first? Very possible. Then hit them with some switchup?I will be shocked if HH doesn't start first game, if he is healthy; the experience factor verses 2 freshman QBs is a major plus. It's that kind of off script stuff.. that wasn't a yolo eitherThat last pass was truly a thing of beauty.
Nope, that was a well placed ball. It's that kind of off script stuff.. that wasn't a yolo either
I'm shotgunning it.I don't even lie to myself anymore and drink it from a tap...
I'm still thinking it will be Raiola, unless he's hurt. You need to get his feet wet and get those initial jitters out of the way before playing CU. It's going to take some scoreboard lighting to beat them, as I'm guessing they'll come to Lincoln healthy and playing fast & loose on offense.I will be shocked if HH doesn't start first game, if he is healthy; the experience factor verses 2 freshman QBs is a major plus. I'm thinking CU will be seeing a superior team. Whoever is at qb. As well as our defense. In our house.I'm still thinking it will be Raiola, unless he's hurt. Rotation or ball spin. Its just bizarre how the ball moves for him. Watching him and DK throwing, both motions appeared the same, but DKs passes were slowing while DRs just seemed to be catching more air.
That or just throwing through the very center of the ball. Rotation will center it, but if its there from the start, less energy needed.Rotation or ball spin.

I don't know what it is, rotation, better centering, but they don't seem to be going faster, yet they are going further.
And thats why we won't know until it happens. Even slight contact against our D risks our qbs, but the opposing teams aren't slightly doing anything.I don't want our starting qb live against our defense.
I get that things change when it's live vs. Someone else.
