I think we can playfully assume he called the D out. That's how I took it.
The way I see it is, we don't know who was calling the defense in which scrimmage, so it may be coming down to that as well.

I told myself not to drink the Kool-Aid (again). But, I find myself getting fired up all over again thinking that this year is going to be a nice step forward...
The passing game has definitely jumped a few notches, both in getting open and dropping them in.
Henrich also had a good day yesterday too
He's rounding out his game. With his running, his value goes way up with improved passing.
Generational talent, endless promise.

Whatever jacks players up. Don't care. But the people that don't think DR isn't the guy need to apparently see it in person?
I think most if not all are saying he's the guy, its just some are saying, is he the guy right now?
At some point hopefully, the definition of who starts becomes really small that we can see. We aren't there yet, few teams have such luxury.
The coaches see it in micro and apply it to what they are trying to do and what they have.
Experience is tough to beat, and if we saw it the staffs way we all would have many more doubts covered.
Who knows when DR is consistently the separated do everything qb?
First game, second third ?

That is true complimentary football. If we need to chew clock shouldn't make us one dimensional against an opponent with a great run D.
It just won't work, and it will work better by throwing well when needed, such as burning the clock.
