Guyton is a back-to-back Peoria Journal Star player of the year and averaged 21.7 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Lions this season on the way to a third-place finish in the Class 3A state tournament. Guyton has listed several offers, including Illinois, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Michigan State, Ohio State, Mississippi State, DePaul among others. Illinois has circled in on Guyton as a priority and head coach Shauna Green has seen Guyton play several times.
