The 2024 Summer Olympic Games will be held from Friday 26 July 2024 to Sunday 11 August 2024. However, the competitions for football and rugby will begin on 24 July and the handball tournament on the 25th. In a little over three weeks, 329 events in 32 sports will take place, with a total of 206 NOCs competing in addition to the Refugee Olympic Team.

"There are 230 athletes now qualified for the 2024 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Wrestling, set for Penn State, April 19-20.

The final qualifying event, the Last Chance Olympic Team Trials Qualifier in Fairfax, Va., was held in April 6-7. The last 18 qualifiers were determined, six in each discipline, as the champions advanced to Olympic Trials.

Not all of the 230 qualifiers have registered for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials. There are a number who may not compete, due to retirement, injury or other factors. For this final list, we include every qualifier."

I can't stand PSU!! Cael Sanderson is just as much to blame as his wrestlers and fans.

"Former Penn State wrestler Bo Nickal took offense to this and went on a wildly terrible take about it, calling Burroughs a “phony” while he gets fed main card slots to fight bums in the UFC. Starocci decided to inject himself in the conversation, promising to end Burroughs’ career at Olympic Trials, only to never even attempt making 74kg..."

"So because Bo Nickal wanted some attention by attacking the American GOAT and Starocci just can’t keep his mouth shut, the entire Penn State crowd decided to boo a guy who’s done more than anyone for American wrestling. That’s classless. It’s disgusting. It was embarrassing."

"Later when Mesenbrink refused to let go of Burroughs’ ankles on the edge of the mat after the whistle after a match full of these antics, Burroughs gave him a shove to the head and gave up a point on a technical violation, getting in Mesenbrink’s face afterwards and exchanging words at the center before the restart. Regardless, Burroughs earned the 8-3 win, didn’t give up a takedown and got heckled on his way out."

" As Burroughs walked out, a fan leaned over the railing and yelled at Burroughs that his “career is over” before Burroughs yelled back and he took the coward’s way out — he tuck-tailed and ran like the scum that he is."

"And this was all after Burroughs took his loss with class, shook BO NICKAL’S hand who was in Nolf’s corner (Nickal couldn’t look him in the eye from what I’ve seen), and was trying to just exit the arena with his long-time coach Mark Manning at his side. Props to Nebraska Head Coach Manning for sticking up for his guy in the moment."

Cael Sanderson, his wrestlers and fans all SUCK IMO!!!!

Nebraska is proud of this young man! What an incredible run through the Olympic Team Trials! The 2nd best guy in the USA at MFS 97kg. Insane!!!! Looking forward to watching him compete again."

The U.S. Women’s National Team is one of the strongest volleyball squads in the world. In 2014, the U.S. broke through for its first major gold medal, winning the FIVB World Championship, and they’ve medaled in every FIVB World Cup since 2003. The five-time Olympic medalists have been on the podium in each of the last four Olympic Games, winning their first gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
