The limited film on this kid look promising. Remarkable if you consider he was new to the sport at the high school level.
Not mention his head coach is now his TE coach so knows him pretty well
Nebraska sees Smith Flores as a flex-hybrid tight end it can move around offensive formations. Smith Flores only began playing football during his senior season of high school, but given Nebraska’s wide open depth chart at tight end, there is a need right away.

You can watch the NFL any weekend and see very create and talented TE's making huge contributions to their teams. They are setting up something here along those lines. Look at Kelce this weekend for KC. Guy was literally unstoppable.
