Yeah, Texas may be the runner up to Nebraska in the underachievers competition.

The Horns have finished 4 of the past 5 years ranked in the top 25 (with one top 10 finish) -- but they usually have a top 10 class (247 talent comp had UT 6th last season).

Nebraska was 24th in team talent last season -- and obviously failed miserably yet again. Sadly, Nebraska has likely overachieved quite a bit more than Texas. I'd say we are the worst of the worst. Neither team has much to brag about.

No, they don’t. While they’ve struggled, they’ve haven’t had 6 straight losing seasons. Hell, they just won the Sugar Bowl in 2019. From 2016-2021 season, (2022 not posted yet) Nebraska was 110th in win %. Texas was 45th. Nebraska has just been awful. Almost unthinkably awful.
