Reading all of the rumors and mocks ... trying to see through the smoke screens ... it seems possible CJ Stroud will be the 4th QB drafted. I find that very interesting.

If Houston at #2 does defense instead of QB then I think the entire draft gets very chaotic.
Does Arizona trade out at #3 or do they take a generational talent such as Will Anderson?

Indy may be the biggest beneficiary ... not having to trade up yet still get the QB they want.

I'm not ready to give up on the trade yet. Hackett was a disaster of a coach. Payton should be able to whip Wilson into shape. If not, I think they take the hit after this year and move a different direction.

He had said he has plenty of money, but it's a valid question and a cear I have as a Chiefs fan.

Right. They all have "plenty of money." That doesn't stop anyone from saying they are underpaid. I think the NFLPA doesn't like seeing guys underpaid either as it can affect the market as a whole. I give it 2 years before they are restructuring his contract.

Also, Hackett has become a whipping boy for the Broncos failures but Russell Wilson was an abject failure on a grandiose proportion. He might be better because Payton won't take any of Russell's crap and he (Payton) has the cache to tell Russell to FO.

As we move forward, Hackett will win a Super Bowl (as OC) before Wilson does as a QB.

He won 4 more games than Wilson
He was 4.1% better in completion percentage
He had 10 more TDs (60% more) than Wilson
His QB rating and QBR were both better than Wilson

Rodgers was clearly the better QB than Wilson!
