Craziest stat ever?

Keep in mind, Schwarber has produced those numbers while hitting .198 on the season. Those comparison players -- I'll bet each of them hit no less than .280. The majority over .300. That's a list of Hall of Famers.

Schwarber defies the odds. And it somehow works. Possibly the most unconventional leadoff hitter ever. That's a lineup that needs no tinkering now.

Leads MLB in strikeouts too. Most unconventional leadoff hitter I can remember.

The Braves winning two extra-innings games on the road is impressive, especially with how much heat comes out of the pen for the Phils. The worst the Braves can do on this 4 game series is split which I'm more than happy with.

This Phils team is once again the last team I think anyone wants to play in October. They score on anyone and they have multiple 98+ arms in the pen. Starting pitching is the only shaky item.

Braves are just special this year. Ronnie is gonna get 40/40 and Olson is gonna get to 55ish homers and lead the league in RBI's.

Michael Harris batting 9th is a neon sign indicating what an embarrassment of riches that lineup has.
Olson is going to lead MLB in HR and RBI with over 100 runs and walks and will finish 4th in the NL MVP voting.... just crazy

Phillies clinched the top wild card slot last night. And now they await their opponent -- either the Cubs or Diamondbacks. Most likely Arizona, which would then matchup the Cubs and Brewers in the other NL wild card (which would be a fun series to watch).

Seattle should thank KC for sweeping Houston last weekend. That kept the Mariners hopes much more in place as they are currently in a huge series against the Astros.

The Royals briefly had the worst record in baseball which would have given them the best odds at 1st pick in the draft next year. Then they decided to play baseball and now they are on the brink of passing the Rockies for 3rd worst team in baseball. I'd love to see the Royals compete again but they already lost 100 games this year, they need to tank instead of taking 5 of 6 from the Astros (as much as I dislike the cheaters) and winning 10 of 11 overall.

I don't know that the #1 overall pick means as much in baseball as it does in other sports.

KC needs pitching more than anything. Their bats have been entertaining in the second half -- 13th in MLB in runs scored in the second half after ranking 29th pre-All-Star break.

I just hope they are able to keep Witt long-term. He has Hall of Fame potential and is quietly already one of the best in baseball.

Witt's 2nd half is a big reason I'm in the finals of our fantasy baseball league. That, and your boy Trea Turner remembering he is a baseball player

I'm still grump about fantasy. ;) I haven't lost a week since mid-June.
FWIW … I, (the guy who eked by you) had not lost a series in fantasy since week 14, you hadn’t lost since week 13. Our two head-to-head series both ended in ties.

Now given I’m down 0-9 to Turd … my championship prospects don’t look so good!

The Brewers and Cubs finish the regular season with 3 head-to-head games and then likely turn around and play another wild card 3-game series. I don’t like the fates with that.

Cincinnati is 1.5 games behind with 3 to play (4 for the Cubs). Reds hold the tie breaker so Cincy would need to sweep the Cardinals and the Cubs would have to go 2-2 against the Braves (1) and Brewers (3) who are both prepping themselves for the playoffs.

our matchup is a lot closer than the score indicates. You are unlikely to catch me in most of the batting categories, but I could easily lose this matchup 4-6 with how close the pitching is. You also have the tiebreaker since you beat me in both of our regular season matchups.

I didn't lose in week 13. Week 11 was my last losing week.
