Turner and Harper are both turning it on big time when it matters most.
Harper has homered in back-to-back games. 5 this month (after only 6 in the 2 months prior).
Trea has been huge since the fans encouraged with standing ovations at every AB in the early-August series against KC. Trea responded by having 12 billboards in Philadelphia thanking the fans. That team and the fans have an awesome relationship.
Turner: .349 in the past 17 games, 4 homers, 6 doubles, 14 RBIs, 21 runs scored. I believe he's up to three game winning hits in this stretch as well.
Took a 2-0 series lead over the Giants just by making contact in a game of inches.
This Philadelphia team is better than last year's which made it to the World Series (they currently have the third best record in the NL). Whether or not they can catch lightning in a bottle again in the postseason is another story, but they have the cast of players and great chemistry to give it another run.
Another stat: Philly has hit more homers this month than any other team in the majors.
