Indiana beat Illinois in the second game today. But they had a huge scare in the 9th. Both Indiana and Maryland were hardly convincing in their wins today.

Iowa crushed Michigan. As I said, Iowa is my pick to win the crown. And Michigan was prone for that beating. They stumbled into the tournament more than any of the other teams. 10-run rule ended that Hawkeye beatdown in the 8th.

Oh -- and the Michigan pitcher Iowa beat up on for 7 runs in 7 innings? None other than the Big Ten Pitcher of the Year, Connor O'Halloran.

I agree Iowa is the favorite. As far as O'Halloran. what a joke!

Michigan State is up 2 runs over Rutgers going into the 9th.

Rutgers entered the B10 Tourney with a chance to make the postseason with may a win or two (good RPI). But going 0-2 would likely end their season.

Rutgers did lose.

Iowa beat Indiana.

Illinois and Rutgers have been eliminated. No one can be eliminated with tonight's Maryland-Nebraska game, but I sure would like to join Iowa as the last remaining teams without a loss. That's a huge advantage going into the final two days of the conference tourney.

Michigan 7 Indiana 1 in the 6th.

The Hoosiers are about to have an early exit.

Sure, Indiana will still get an at-large bid, but they haven't played well in recent weeks. In the Big 10 Tourney, they beat Illinois by only 1 in the first round (and Illinois was the first team eliminated), but then lost handily to Iowa and are doing the same against Michigan. In the last series of the regular season, they lost a series to Michigan State. And the series prior to that against a team than made the B10 Tournament, they got swept by Maryland.

Indiana looks like a late-season and postseason flop.

Iowa is rolling.

5-0 win over Michigan this morning to eliminate the Wolverines. Previously beat Indiana 9-4 and beat Michigan 13-3 in the opening game.
