Weaver’s high school film was impressive. His ability to rush the passer as a big man is something that projects well for the future of the D line. I didn’t realize he was already 320lbs. Hopefully that’s good weight, and he’s kept his speed and quickness at that weight. I think there’s too much talent ahead of him for him to have much of a shot at quality playing time this season (which is a good thing for the team) but he’s the next big thing on the D line imo.

Weaver was the first person I got an autograph from on fan day. Man, that boy is HUGE! It's funny, he looks like a big teddy bear, in that he looks like an 18 yr old with a bit of a baby face, but his body is massive. My 17 yr old son was at fan day with me and he didn't believe that Weaver was a true freshman. Good potential for the future there.

Thanks for sharing. I just hope he keeps his speed and athleticism. If you get a chance, watch a few clips of his high school film. Very impressive for a big guy.

What are you basing this on? He looked to have a couple of decent runs against ND (but nothing that special). JY was a 4* out of HS just like Stepp. I don't see Stepp in the top two but that is my opinion. I don't think he ever sees the field for Nebraska but I am hoping I am wrong.
