Weidner also is one of the top multi-sport athletes in the state. She helped lead the Flyers to the Class D-2 state championship in volleyball earlier this month, and she won Class D championships in the 400- and 800-meter events at state track last May.

Saw this elsewhere  and thought it's worth repeating!

(btw where's Sam (Mckeown) on this? Seems Tweetworthy. )

Our 2021 recruit Allison Weidner, 5-foot-9 guard from Humphrey St. Francis was just named as a finalist for the OWH Nebraska girls Athlete of the year. (the winner will be announced next Sunday.)

Congratulations on the nomination, and good luck Allison on the naming of Athlete of the year. Very cool stuff !
