2019 Womens World Cup; Final: USA vs Neatherlands

This game as a whole is a bit of a snooze and England is running out of steam 70 minutes into the match. Has been a real issue for them in this competition from a fitness standpoint. The USA will eat them alive should they play each other.

Crazy final 15 minutes in the Argentina v. Scotland match. Scotland leading 3-0, Argentina gets three goals in the final 15, including a PK retake four minutes into stoppage time.
 
Thursday matches should be interesting.

11:00 AM, Cameroon vs. New Zealand

- Group E: Netherlands/Canada are tied at the top of the group and both are advancing. If either Cameroon or New Zealand gets a win, that team would be in the mix for advancing (see below).


2:00 PM, US vs. Sweden
2:00 PM, Chile vs. Thailand

- Group F: US/Sweden are also tied at the top of their group and both are advancing. The winner gets Spain in the knockouts. The loser gets the loser of the Netherlands/Canada match. Also, if either Chile or Thailand gets a win, they'll be in the mix for advancing (see below).


Third place standings. If Cameroon/New Zealand and Chile/Thailand both end in draws, Argentine moves on. In an amazing possibility, if Thailand wins and Cameroon/New Zealand draw, Thailand moves on!!

Yes! 2:56 and the USA leads 1-0 off of a corner. Horan with the goal and Rapino the assist off of the corner. Poor defending by the Swedes who pay the price

USA looks the better team through 35 minutes. Pressing Sweden hard and having by far more shots on goal. Wit that being said Sweden has played well and is hanging tough. This American team is just so good in all aspects of the game
 



Sweet second goal from Heath.

Lots of possession in the first half, but the execution near goal was really poor. Glad to get the second half started with a goal. Hopefully that takes the winds out of Sweden's sails, now that it'll take 3 goals to win the group.

Agree and once again an early goal that as you said is sucking the air out of Sweden's sails

Yup a lot of possession with some poor finishes in half one
