It is. But spending $50 at HyVee and getting to pitch middle relief at a Royals home game is 100% legit.
Junis another typical start for KC. Looked solid much of the night but he paid for his mistakes. The first HR he gave up was bad luck as the pitch was 4 inches outside and Bruce hit it out.
Relief was promising. Sparkman pitched much better than his line shows. Not a lot of hard contact. 0 walks.
Lovelady made his MLB debut and got the top of the hot Mariner lineup in order, including two strikeouts. Again, 0 walks.
And obviously Merrifield's leadoff triple was the big highlight as he tied George Brett's record for 30 straight games with a hit.

I was actually thinking about buying the MLB package this year for both the Rockies and Royals games, since neither are on TV where I'm at unless they play the Braves. Merrifield is making me think that might not be a bad idea.
Right now, I'm tuning into the games to watch the top of the lineup, along with Hamilton if he gets on base. There's not much else to get excited about. I know its early, but Dozier is nearing the point where you have to start questioning him being in the lineup. He was a negative WAR player last year.

I'm thinking the promotion of allowing season ticket holders a chance to hit a homer for free tickets was actually a way to secretly see if there were any legit hitters in the fanbase.
I get MLB.TV every year with our TMobile service. It allows me to watch all of the Royals game I can. Blessing or curse?
Although I also have IPTV so I get all of the games anyway but MLB.TV lets me watch/listen more easily and through my phone.
6-8 has been a black hole in the KC lineup most of the season.
I had hopes for Owings with his good Spring and the chance to play every day but so far, he has been a disappointment.
Maldonado just can't hit. If the KC pitching staff wasn't so young, I think they would have just went with Gallagher and Viloria but having a vet that can better handle the staff was probably a good idea. Losing Perez really hurt.
Releasing Goodwin and signing Duda was a huge error as well. Duda hasn't done anything and Goodwin is batting .370 for the Angels.
Blessing. Only because there's one or two times a game where Ryan Lefebvre makes fun of Rex Hudler, but the joke goes over Rex's head. That's great stuff.
To the bolded. It's pure speculation, but I assume Duda told Dayton Moore that he absolutely hates porn, but that Goodwin watched it everyday in the clubhouse.
