When will the Omaha World Herald lift its travel ban on its two beat reporters (Barfy of the Skers, Piv for the Jays) now that both teams are squaring in on bubble consideration?

Do you subscribe? I don't. The Journal Star laid off most of their writers last year, excepting the sports department. I think they are still trying to find a way to make a profit in these digital times. I would expect more of this.

It isn't the first time the OWH has pulled "beat" guys from CU and NU bball road trips. It's weak but honestly...I don't know how traditional newspapers stay afloat in the first place.
