1997 Big12 CH #2 Nebraska vs #14 Texas A&M

That was a driven, highly motivated team. The way we went on after this and dismantled Tennessee and Payton Manning was equally high octane. Oh, what magic it would be to see that level of urgency and execution on both sides of the ball from our Huskers.
 
Michigan is so incredibly lucky they didn’t have to play NU. Tennessee was better than Michigan IMO. I honestly think NU rolls that Michigan team by 4-5 TD’s. I’m not sure that putrid Michigan offense would have ever scored. Would have freakin run over that Michigan team. Still pisses me off. 45-7 NU. The 1997 team was a great team with only that one blip, lackluster play at Mizzou. They would have beaten anyone in a bowl game, anyone.

I 100% agree. We would have rolled that Michigan team, and like you alluded to, they might not have even scored against our D.
