Looking forward to first exhibition next week. I don't know how all these pieces go together to form a team, but there are some fun pieces. Glynn Watson looks so smooth... wow. Evelyn looks like he can shoot, and Benny looks like he's been working on his scoring.

Wow if Shields is going to be playing flexed inside we're going to have trouble rebounding this year against teams not named Wyoming..
I think we have a lot more legitimate scoring threats with this team than we did last year, when it seemed nearly everyone on the team was in a scoring slump; some more than others!
Last year it seemed that nobody was willing to shoot the ball, maybe for fear of missing the shot. How many times last year did we see someone getting open looks, only to see them pass the ball off to somebody else?
Looking at the film highlights, virtually everyone was getting points, Bakari (a pleasant surprise), McVeigh, Morrow, Watson, Shavon, and White (16 pts). No one knows for sure yet how that will translate to actual game conditions and competition level, But it does mean that there will be legitimate scoring threats, even coming off the bench!
I look forward to an exciting season, following this team as it gels and matures!

Dude, tune out the crowd? That's like saying you can only smell the pulled pork at Arthur Bryant's but can't taste it. It also stays a lot more mellow without a crowd because if there is a situation of being 'posterized' you aren't all chippy because its going to be on SportsCenter. It's a calmer setting.
