Wrestling the Cardinal


Silver goes in deep on a double leg and might have it with 1 minute left, but Lambert turns it around on him on a huge scramble!

Lambert gets the takedown on a scramble with 20 seconds left! that looked really bad for Lambert there, but he wins it 3-1!

Huskers now lead 24-3
 
Montoya almost gets a takedown on a slide by but they go off the mat with 1 minute remaining in the 1st.
 



ref calls a stall on both wrestlers with 15 seconds left in the 1st. never seen that before. next guy who stalls loses a point
 
Montoya takes bottom to start the 2nd and escapes immediately for a 1-0 lead with 1:55 left in the 2nd
 
lots of head slapping and Montoya taking several shots, but nothing scoring with 40 seconds left in the 2nd
 
another double stall call? both wrestlers get a point this time. that's weird. Montoya leads 2-1
 




Montoya starts the 3rd on top, and Schram gets out immediately to tie it up 2-2. 1:28 remaining in teh 3rd and no riding time.

ref finally calls stalling on Schram, so Montoya takes the lead 3-2
 
Schram takes a shot with 30 seconds left, but they stall on the scramble and the ref restarts them
 
Schram gets in on a single takedown with only seconds left and wins it 4-3
 



really strange match with two double stall calls. then a stall on Schram, and a replay takedown with 6 seconds left.
