Indianapolis – Jessica Shepard and Hannah Whitish each scored 16 points to lead five Huskers in double figures, but the Nebraska women’s basketball team had its season end with a 79-70 loss to Illinois in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament.....in a game of drastic scoring swings, the 12th-seeded Illini closed the game on a 10-2 surge to secure the win and advance to Thursday’s second round to face No. 5 seed Purdue. (winning to advance vs Purdue sounds like a Prize one should have no wish to win! ;))

I don't know about you all but I'm going to be checking the Shoes They are Wearing!

:Gobigred:

Illinois leading scorer, Alex Wittinger, is out because of a broken hand suffered during their last game vs Indiana!

Lady Huskers fight to the end, but come up empty in eight successive possessions, can't get points when they needed them; lose 79-70. :O O:

(I didn't see them wearing their winning Shoes :(; maybe might have clashed with their Red Uniforms!)
