The Tree v. Troy

After a nice 49 yarder, and a 1 yard run, USC goes up by 10, 24 - 14. 4:40 or so left in the 3rd.
 

This has turned out to be a really good game. 24 - 21 USC. Awaiting the call on a potential fumble by Love and Stanford, it was 2nd and goal.
 
Stanford has been the recipient of some very sketchy called penalties tonight. 2nd and goal again, now 3rd and goal. 4th and goal at the 1.

USC stuffs the play. Turnover on downs. 8:00 left to go.
 
Yowzers.... Trojans take it 99 yards in 8 plays to take retake a 10 point lead. 31 - 21

WOW! What a game. K.J. Costello with an impossibly beautiful pass for a TD to pull within 3 of USC. 31 - 28 Trojans. Coming down to if the Tree can force a 3 and out or a TO.

edit: Stanford is trying an onside kick. time out USC.

Kicked out of bounds, USC's ball at the 40 of the Tree. 2:09 left. 1 time out left for each team. A turnover is the only thing that could save the Cardinal now.
 




No time out called from Stanford and USC needs one yard for the first. SC lets the clock run down and takes their final time out with :41 left in the game.

Stanford stuffs the run play behind the line of scrimmage and forces 4th down. Stanford now uses it's final t/o with :37 left.
 
SC's O still on the field. WOW! They pull of the PAC 12 play of the year to win the PAC Title. A swing out pass play for the first and more. Victory formation to end the game. 31 - 28 final USC.
