Had to love that Verduzco quote from Parker Gabriel. He said "(Martinez's) statue already has the eyebrows on it - now we just have to finish the rest."
Players have to love hearing some of the funky junk that comes out of that guys mouth.
I am so not worried about the coaches putting too much pressure on 2AM. Listening to his comments here makes me think he will thrive under pressure.
This kid doesn't define pressure the way most of us do. As a freshman he had ice in his veins a lot of the time. I can't imagine what he's going to be like when he owns the scheme, and the team. He's gonna make defensive coordinators wet their legs multiple times in games.
I worry a little when I hear that guys with big motors gain big weight. Cam Meredith was a weeble-wobble by the end, and Freedom following his first year come to mind.
