Some of it looked like football.
It looked like Keith Williams was on the Commanders sideline also --- at least to me.
That was him all right.
It's gotta be the off season of football, if you guys are watching the D league.
I will always wish the best for Mike Riley.
I agree as long it's a long ways away from Nebraska football............
If that was the NFL, they would still be reviewing it
I was surprised at the size of the crowd
The D stands for Dolphins right?
Me too. Nice guy who just didn't have what it takes to make it work at Nebraska. Much like Miles and Solich.
Took the words right out of my mou... er... off my fingers.
I'd "like" this but I don't want to feed your Frank fetish...
There's a lot of rules this new league is using that would benefit the NFL. Though I believe the ties are close between the NFL and AAF, so it may well be that the new rules serve as a testing ground.
This is as close to an NFL minor league as we've seen. I really like the concept and hope it does well. I also liked the USFL (which was trying to compete against the NFL rather that serve as somewhat of a partner) but didn't care much for the XFL.
By the way, if it wasn't noted previously, Aaron Green (former Husker/Horned Frog) is the starting RB for San Antonio.
The XFL had the best way to determine the first possession.
