I am assuming, even though we both had issues, that maybe these are two completely different issues. Do any of the lawyers on here have any thoughts?

As I recall they delayed sending them to the hospital. In our case reports were we immediately got them to the hospital.

This not to say we could not be sued. ANYONE can sue for just about ANYTHING.

I would imagine any validity of that amount of claim would be dependent upon there being long term kidney damage. Yeah, you can ask for a lot as a punitive damage, but I would think there would really have to be an issue of gross negligence and then long term damage.
