I just heard a Motel 6 ad on the radio that I thought was clever and funny, but then near the end when Tom talked about their low prices, I literally did a double-take at the radio, "did he just say that?"

Apparently it aired during the recent superbowl, and won an award for best radio ad

I picture it going over the head of radio executives, "what, I don't get it?", much like the TV censors that approved the "popsicle twins" act on the Gong Show, or Judy Carne's "bald" one-liner on Laugh-In.
While searching for the above ad, I came across one that aired during the superbowl a few years ago. It too won an award for best superbowl ad.

I thought it was funny...it reminded me of @bilsker 's phone.
