Final Stats:

Saw just a little bit, before going to the viewing.

Anyway, got back and saw a little bit of the last few minutes, or so. I will
enjoy watching the game, but am a little disappointed on how they get into
a skirmish under the bucket, get the ball, and continually give it right back
to the other team!!! Geeesh!!!!!!!!!!

Anyway, great win for the Huskers. Maybe, now, AP won't be so picky, and move
our Huskers up a bit more. To me, the coaches know more about other teams than
those barflies! ;)

A Good win by 24 pts against a good aggressive team, despite mental lapses in rebounding and leaving a lot of FT pts on the floor.

Merry Christmas everyone! :Santa:

Next Game: Sat, 12/29 vs Southwest Minnesota State @ PBA, 1:00pm CT, BTN Plus

Palmer shot much better, and Watson got the ball to people in the right place, at the right time. Roby was more active, and not just standing inside, which got him more looks. But he needs to hit 75% from the line. He’s got a nice motion, so no reason he can’t consistently shoot free throws.

Solid outing, we still had a drought, but thankfully, it didn’t last too long. Our crowd is going to make any opponent have to focus, or get run over. It’s loud in that place.

Thanks for the nice win yesterday team. :Mfclap:

It was reall...er...well, fun to watch.

It could have been 'really' fun to watch, if not for the reason for the quotes below. :(

Come on coach, you need to get the guys caught up on the free throw shooting. :Mfclap:

Watson has been playing well. He does so many little things. We will miss him. It was obvious Huskers were concentrating on feeding Roby inside. He is still struggling to finish. Like that Miles is using the 1-3-1 a little more. We are long and quick and it usually gives our opponents fits. Wasn't the prettiest game to watch but we will take the W.

There is getting a guy the ball, and there is getting a guy more opportunities. I’d like to see Roby get more opportunities. Just getting him the ball puts him in the position of needing to be creative, and while we all love the kid, he’s not a creator. More screens for back cuts and rolls are what Roby needs.

He can do wonders if he can perfect a jump hook. It’s a great shot for creating space, and not relying on outmuscling someone to get it. He’s so explosive, that even a half step gets him above most defenders. It’s also good for rebounding, because you are up quick, and either down before the defender or already in motion moving to open space near the basket. He shoots a jump hook some, but he uses it after he’s tried to get position near the block. That means he’s had a wrestling match, then he’s trying to get off the floor, and that reduces his explosive advantage. Flash in, and be turning and jumping the second it hits your hands, don’t waste time establishing position.

For inside players, the hardest guys to cover are the ones you can’t touch. He needs to play the 5 like a, I don’t know, like a 3 1/2. He can drive people crazy because he’s such a unique talent. If he tries to play like a 5, a ton of those unique qualities are nullified.
