As predicted...Huskers will finish in last place in the Big 10. That is what happens when your Athletic Department is not committed to a sport for several decades. An embarrassing overmatched loss vs. Wisconsin. Nebraska is poorly coached and has absolutely no playmakers. No way Sadler survives this season...he's not the right guy for the job.

In fairness, Iowa and Penn State will give NU a run for their money for that last place honor.
 
No matter if it is last or next to last or next to next to next to last, NU's team will not be successful in the Big 10 this season and there is NO reason for fans to buy tickets next year to watch the team as is it currently shepherded.

NU needs an extra 160k clicks in the turn styles next year, (~8k x 20 games) but if they could get just 1/2 of that they could increase ticket sales by $1million, before parking and concessions. Add $1m to what Doc is paid and NU might have the chance to talk with some talented head coaching candidates.
 
After Doc is fired at the end of this season (if not before), it will be the most important hire in Nebraska basketball history. They can 't get this one wrong. Must get a strong recruiter and pay him well...or we'll get more of these embarrassing losses on national television.
