Here's a good read for the in-state potential in recruiting for the next two recruiting cycles.

"The fact that my main area is Nebraska, that's been really cool for me," Ruud said on National Signing Day. "Because not only is it great seeing people around the state, but it brings back a lot of memories, too. Because I played at those same fields that the guys I'm recruiting are coming up from. So that was really special for me going into a lot of those schools that I've already played at."
As one might assume, Ruud has gotten "a very welcoming feeling" walking through the doors of the local high schools.
"Obviously a lot of them are Nebraska fans, but a lot of them are people I recognized from when I was at Southeast too," he said. "In-state recruiting is something I'm going to be very prideful about and take a passionate approach to it."
