Yes....unlike Nebraska, Illinois does not break the rules by providing their athletes with recommended but not mandatory textbooks. So these diligent, hard-studying student-athletes just did what they thought they needed to do since they couldn't afford the other textbooks.
Completely irrelevant to the thread. However I believe since this is an opponent and in our conference this could have been started in the main football board.
