He absolutely "deserves" to finish this craptacular season. Agree.

Its the right move. Let's face it, all of the fans calling for Riley's firing don't really care whether he is fired now or in two weeks. They just want to know who his replacement will be. And that will not happen until after the regular season anyway.

That's fine, and I'm not surprised. It's what Moos said a couple of weeks ago.

Moos is telling everyone that Riley is gone at the end of the season.

Exactly right. His comments about Nebraska fans deserving a better product on the field are pretty clear.

This 100%. And Moss' reasoning is spot on IMHO. And we can certainly surmise that ADBM's "next steps" are already in motion.

The hell with that. Early signing date makes the impetus to have a coach in place ASAP critical.

We'll pay to get SF, and we'll pay to get him now.

Wish you were right but it aint gonna happen pal. Wouldn't it be fitting that lingering Riley will also cost us SF?

Are you suggesting that Frost would quit on his guys at UCF right now if the price is high enough?

Yes. If it were like any other year, with signing day in Feb, then finishing out the string is fine.

With 70% of recruits signing Dec 20, we have to have a HC, and have one ASAP.

To buyout SF immediately is a necessity, IMO.

I’m just glad he came out made a statement. It won’t slow down the “firing” and “new HC” speculation, but at least it will provide some stability over the next couple of weeks.
