Huskers vs. Cornhuskers?

I think that when used as a whole, "Nebraska Cornhuskers" sounds much better. But just saying "Huskers" on its own works too. But "Nebraska Huskers" just sounds choppy to me. I think the athletic department should use Cornhuskers through.
