Looks like Nebraska has a new Big Ten tradition: losing their first conference games to Wisconsin.

After an impressive start to the season - including road wins against USC and TCU - the Husker men's basketball team repeated the football team's meltdown from the fall as they were similarly dismantled by the Badgers despite an early game lead. Forget the divisional alignment (in football, at least), Wisconsin is now Prime Suspect #1 for revenge in 2012.

The game was the very first Big Ten conference game in men's hoops. At least the Huskers have a chance to redeem themselves in Madison on January 15th.
 

may be a long ride for the Huskers in conference play with the Big 10 right now rated the best conference by far with their overall RPI. they wait till they play hockey...oh wait!

You might be the only person in America take described NU's Non-Con results as an 'impressive start'. Further, Wisc is the #1 team in the nation right now and NU has almost ZERO chances of success in Madison in 2 weeks.
