One of the great things about hiring Frost over any other candidate, is that he is given latitude to say things like that and not catch any flack. It's finally nice to NOT hear half of the board pissed off about something the coach said they don't like.

Honestly, I don't think he'd say it that way a second time. No one knows all of the context around that statement, and SF isn't one to talk crap about his predecessors. I think we'll see some "journalists" do things like this to stir the pot for awhile.

Exactly. There's a lot of anger about where the program was under MR. So SF could just simply be acknowledging that a common thought of many people might be that while MR was here that "everything was terrible", and SF is simply saying that's not true.

Becas you are clearly reading that portion out of context. He is clearly saying that people (meaning people like you) think everything Riley did was terrible. However, They had some really good ideas. (Meaning they may have executed overall poorly but that does not mean we can not learn from some of what they did.
