So, if the starting times are Central, I should be able to get on for an hour or so, before
getting ready to go to our weekly, Friday night dance at the Sr. Ctr. It is so nice, we have
so many that can ably call the game. :) I will be looking on my smartphone, of course, to
see what's going on.

As far as Saturday, I will be available for the 1st game. but not the 2nd. A dear friend of
ours has been told, they can no longer do anything for his failing heart, so we are, once
again, going to honor him down at the Sr. Ctr, to say goodbye. We'll miss you very much, Bob.

I will be around for Sunday's game.

Talk to you all, later.

Not a huge baseball fan, just looking for something new to do
I can understand people's dislike of baseball, or finding it boring, but it really is a great team sport. You absolutely should make a Husker game or 10 this year. Tailgate 'em.... It's big fun.... Of course, this is just my humble opinion.

Hoping to make a couple games this spring, complete with tailgating,
I never been to a husker baseball game

When I lived in the Bay Area, which is where I am originally from (San Francisco), I made a trip to Stanford, in E. Palo Alto, to see our Huskers play. I remember seeing Paul Meyers, Jake's dad, play that day. I took half the day off from my job, in order to see them play; drove from Walnut Creek to Palo Alto. Had a great time, but we lost on a bungled, set up, double play, that did not work!! It was so long ago, I am not sure what it was, but the infield was in an eerie set up. When I saw it, I remember I freaked out. We were hoping to stop them scoring, so the game could go into extra innings. In short, it cost us the game, because the ball went thru the infield!!! Oh well, saw my Huskers, so it was great!! :Happyrun:

I have never known you to be humble, friend!!! ;) Hey, almost time!!!!!!!!! Can't wait! My wife says, already that time, again? :Rolf::Rolf::Rolf:

I am hoping, this year, with so many new Husker fans joining us, that we will have more color on the players, during the game. There are so many knowledgeable guys here, it would be great to have info on everyone, as we go forward. Hoping, I get my legs under me quickly! It's preseason, training time, once again. :)
