Measurables look good. Dominates when singled up(usually when the team plays a 4-3). Struggles to penetrate against the double teams but holds ground well and frees up his teammates(usually when the team plays a 3-4). Good motor and show a burst when the ball is snapped and even some closing speed to the outside for his size.
 



It's obvious he's got a ton of talent but is he smart? Any DT with his talent that chooses any school over Nebraska (with Bo and Carl's coaching talent ) would have to have their judgement/ intelligence questioned.

N2FL: What kind of things do you do for fun?

M.J.: I love to workout mostly, I stay inside a lot. Mainly to keep my focus!

N2FL: At what age did you start playing football?

M.J.: I started playing at age 11. It would have been earlier but Pop Warner had a weight limit.

N2FL: What was your favorite college team growing up?

M.J.: I didn’t really have one, I just loved watching the game.

N2FL: Have a favorite NFL Team?

M.J.: The 'Who Dat' Saints baby!

N2FL: Which is better, the NFL or college?

M.J.: Most definitely college! Nothing like it!

N2FL: What do you think of the current BCS system? Would you prefer a playoff?

M.J.: Oh yes, I would prefer a playoff. I don't think the BCS is fair.

N2FL: Any particular reason for the jersey number?

M.J.: Uhhh, its easy to remember!

N2FL: Do you try and emulate any specific player?

M.J.: Not really, I watch different drills by different players to get myself better.

N2FL: When and who was your first scholarship offer?

M.J.: Mississippi State on September 1, 2009.

N2FL: How many scholarship offers do you currently have?

M.J.: 42

N2FL: Is there a school that hasn't offered you that you would like to see do so?

M.J.: Uhhh, not really, I’m happy with the list I have now!

N2FL: What are some of the considerations you have when deciding between schools?

M.J.: It doesn’t really matter, I just have to be comfortable with the people and the teachers!

N2FL: Who are the schools currently on your list for consideration? Any leader(s)?

M.J.: 1. UCLA, 2. Nebraska, 3. Michigan, 4. Tennessee, 5. LSU

N2FL: Did you attend any schools Spring Game?

M.J.: No, none this year.

N2FL: Who is currently recruiting you the hardest?

M.J.: UCLA and Nebraska

N2FL: Have you thought about who you might want to "officially visit"?

M.J.: Yes - my top 5 list minus LSU. They are right up the road.

N2FL: What positions are you being recruited to play?

M.J.: DT

N2FL: What position would you prefer to play in college?

M.J.: DT or OG

N2FL: What do you view as some of your playing strengths?

M.J.: Quickness and Strength

N2FL: What are some things you would like to work on between now and college?

M.J.: my footwork

N2FL: What is the most annoying aspect of the recruiting process?

M.J.: Nothing, I love it all! The calls, mail, etc..

N2FL: How would you feel about Redshirting?

M.J.: I wouldn’t mind it, but I will bust my tail to make 1st string just in case I do need to go in.

N2FL: Do you have a major in mind?

M.J.: Business

N2FL: What are your goals for your senior season?

M.J.: To be the best and to help my team make it as far as possible in the playoffs.

N2FL: Do you have any individual goals for your college career?

M.J.: To win the Heisman Trophy.

N2FL: What will you miss the most about high school?

M.J.: The games and the atmosphere.

N2FL: What is the craziest recruiting "pitch" you have heard so far?

M.J.: “We will roll out a Red carpet for you when you arrive.â€￾ - Coach Mike Norvell (Tulsa)

N2FL: Do you have a time frame as to when you would like to commit?

M.J.: No, I just have to be comfortable with that school.

N2FL: In addition to "National Letter of Intent Day' in February, should there be an early signing period like college basketball? Perhaps in August or November?

M.J.: No

M.J.: Yes, Jermauria Rasco
