Chris Cornell dead

I think that pretty much leaves Eddie Vedder, as far as the big singers from the Seattle-based grunge bands, doesn't it?

Truly a shame. Quite possibly a return to touring was a bit too powerful.

Who knows? He was pretty open about fighting depression his whole life. It just seems strange that your band is still huge 33 years after they were founded, still selling out arenas, and you have a family, to take your life at 52. But only he knew the demons he had to deal with.

Yep, but I mean as far as the lead singer goes. I forgot about Mudhoney, but not a fan.

I love Alice In Chains, but Layne is dead. That said, William Duvall is outstanding.

Do Foo Fighters count, since Dave G was part of Nirvana before Foos?
