Remember he was at Centennial High School in Utica before Kearney.
Didn't know that but proud of him just the same.
Don't know where he was before Utica, his aunt and uncle live in Fremont and his grandparents are Hooper/Fremont people as well. Very proud and great accomplishment as well, he has paid his dues.
And I was thinking he just did kickoffs and punts at Nebraska, no? Was he our regular place kicker? I was thinking it was someone else.

He was all B1G Jr and Sr year. 19 of 23 jr year on fgs and 20 of 27 Sr year. Over half his kickoffs were touchbacks and he punted as well. Looks like he was in the CFL for a bit.
Utica is near my homeys... back when Utica was a long way a way due to the need to use horse & buggys to travel... I think the local HSs consolidated into Centennial.

He could've gotten another couple yards on that kick too. It was pretty impressive considering he had just missed a 45 yarder a few minutes before that
