So he goes from being an administrative organizer to an assistant, and this is him bailing? I'd also wonder if the guy was in charge of 'player relations' was recognized as doing a really good job based on the exodus? If the staff is looking for a fresh start, a change in focus on the type of player and attitude they want, it might be a wise move to make a change at that position. The fact it's a pretty easy transition to one of Miles' formers makes me wonder if it wasn't a mutual decision.
