Interesting read.

I have to say I'm so leery of new technology like this. I know it's years from the marketplace, but when one of the companies involved speeds up or heaven forbid, skips a step, you're looking at serious safety issues. I hope the development process and quality control will be much more closely monitored than say some of the old iPhone or laptop batteries of the recent past that became incendiary devices. I have to think the FAA will require a long, long testing process before this type of technology would be accepted in a commuter plane setting.
